AWS Summit London 2026 brought together thousands of customers, partners and AWS leaders at ExCeL London for a packed day focused on one clear message: AI is moving from experimentation to execution - and organisations need the right foundations to turn ambition into impact.
Across the keynotes, breakout sessions and customer stories, three themes stood out.
AI was everywhere at this year’s summit, but the conversation has clearly evolved. The focus has shifted from generative AI producing outputs, to agentic AI systems that plan, decide and take action across workflows.
AWS showcased how agentic AI is being embedded across development, data and operations - enabling organisations to automate complex tasks, accelerate delivery, and reduce manual effort. A recurring message was that the winners won’t be those adopting the most AI tools, but those embedding AI responsibly into everyday processes.
A striking insight shared during the summit was that while a majority of UK organisations have adopted AI in some form, only a fraction are realising meaningful business impact.
To address this, AWS highlighted:
The takeaway was clear: AI success is as much about strategy, architecture and people as it is about models.
While AI led the headlines, security and resilience remained front and centre - especially for regulated industries and public sector organisations. Sessions reinforced the need for secure-by-design cloud architectures, stronger governance, and clear approaches to data residency and sovereignty.
These themes closely align with what Cloud Bridge sees across customer engagements: cloud transformation only succeeds when security, compliance and resilience are built in from day one.
Alongside the summit, Cloud Bridge hosted Cloud Connect Hub, our afternoon networking event - and it proved to be a real highlight.
With over 200 customers in attendance, the sun shining and the formal sessions done for the day, the atmosphere was relaxed, social and energised. Customers stepped away from the noise of the expo floor to connect, share experiences and have honest conversations about cloud, AI and the challenges they’re facing in the real world.
Our Managing Director, Simon, summed it up perfectly:
“It was a fantastic summit, with valuable time spent alongside AWS leadership aligning on both short- and long-term strategy across our key verticals and technologies. Hosting the afternoon drinks was a real highlight — great to see so many customers step away from the day-to-day and connect in a more relaxed setting. Despite the tube strikes, the turnout and energy were exceptional, reflecting the strength of the AWS and Cloud Bridge partnership. There’s real momentum building, and it’s an exciting time as we continue to scale our global collaboration.”
For us, Cloud Connect Hub was about more than numbers - it was about relationships, trust and shared direction, reinforcing the strength of the AWS and Cloud Bridge partnership.
AWS Summit London 2026 made one thing clear: momentum is building. Agentic AI, secure-by-design cloud foundations, and partner-led delivery models are shaping the next phase of transformation.
At Cloud Bridge, we’re excited to help customers turn these ideas into action — combining AWS innovation with deep expertise across security, migration, modernisation and AI.
If you missed the summit or Cloud Connect Hub, we’d love to continue the conversation.
